Andrea Menard, LLB, LLM [DR], PhD student, ᐑᔭ wiya is a proud citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta. She brings to the table a rich background in law, underpinned by her Métis lineage, which traces back to the historic Red River Settlement and into Treaty 6 and Métis Nation Homeland lands. Her Métis roots are anchored in the family names of Bruneau, Carrière, Landry, Guerin, LaRocque, and Champagne.

As the Founder and President of Indigenous Connect, she is deeply committed to forging relationships that respect, recognize, and honor Indigenous voices and perspectives.
